On May 1, 2009, Rochester Area Health Maintenance Organization, Inc. d/b/a Preferred Care formally merged with its affiliate, MVP Health Plan, Inc. (MVP). Although the Member Handbook still says “Preferred Care,” all of the information is still current and applicable to your current MVP plan.
