This class—designed for people with diabetes, prediabetes, or a family history or risk factors for developing diabetes—explains why healthy, plant-based meals can help to manage diabetes and attain a healthy weight. You will see a cooking demonstration of low-fat, plant-based dishes you can enjoy at home. An easy-to-understand video with medical experts will review plant-based nutrition studies related to diabetes. Class materials will include recipes and useful resources related to plant-based eating and diabetes.
